I am Pastor Nireekshana Rao Govathoti. I was born February 15, 1962 in Moparru of Tenali mandal, Andhra Pradesh. I am the fourth child of nine children, three of whom are now with the Lord.
I received my B.A. degree in Economics in 1985 at Andrha Christian College in Guntur; and after obtaining additonal Bible training, I was ordained on February 19, 2004. By the grace of God, I married my beautiful Swarupa on June 9, 1990.
My mother was a strong, committed Christian believer who raised me and my brothers and sisters to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with all our hearts. In fact, three of us are now pastors. She slept in the Lord in January 1988. In March 2004, I was privileged to baptize my father who had finally accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour. As of this writing, he is still serving the Lord Jesus with all his heart. Praise the Lord!
Hi! I am Swarupa Rani Govathoti. I was born May 2, 1972 to two wonderful Christian parents who raised my four sisters, one brother and me to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. One other sister died when she was a baby.
My mother slept in the Lord October 28, 1987 when I was 15; my father joined her on May 21, 2007. I attended school in Sekurupalem village, and then married Nireekshana, a good man of God, on June 9, 1990.
On June 3, 1991 the Lord blessed us with the birth of our first son, Immanuel Govathoti. Then, on October 12, 1992 the Lord graced us again with the birth of our second (and last) son, Joseph Govathoti.
Both of us now serve the Lord at two churches, one in a poor Hindu and Muslim neighborhood of Pedakakani and one in a Hindu slum area in Ganesh Nagar. We have 30-40 families and about 40 Sunday School children at our Pedakakani church, which is now too small to accommodate everyone.
At Ganesh Nagar, we are presently conducting meetings and Sunday School for about 20 families and 50-70 children. We are conducting services on the road as we have no building or room for this church. But, we are believing God to provide according to His abundant riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
